There's no good reason to have a successful Xbox brand dragged down by flopping products. But if Xbox is not successful, then there is reason to keep it in the E&D division. The one thing that is certain is that Microsoft doesn't like transparency. They don't give projections for shipments and don't even post totals for software shipments. |
Neither Office, Bing, Skype, Azure, SQL or Sharepoint have their own divisions.
Actually there is a WIndows division, but that is it.
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
