What about Surface pro? I am running almost everything I can download off of steam on it. It's a tablet. From Surface pro 1 to Surface Pro 2 there was a significant power increase. The new A7 chip in the Ipad Air is pretty powerful. These are specs for 2013. Next year when those spead double again and the size shrinks again, they will be getting close in basic processing power. The next logical step for these devices is a more robust GPU. Once they go that route, it won't be hard to match the XB1/PS4. |
Good luck playing Nintendo or Sony 1st parties on it though... and this is the main reason I buy console (to play sony games).
