just look at Assassin's Creed 3. a game that is so heavily reliant on historic places, events and characters and they chose America in the civil war, by far the most boring and uninspiring choice they could make. result? the best selling Assassin's Creed just because it had the flag in the trailer and it was all about "amuricaa!!!!"
