I agree with both articles. MS really should have won this gen from a purely gaming pov since it had a head start and a lot of great games to begin with while Sony made one cock up after another but instead it threw it's weight behind the mostly awful Kinect, timed exclusives and a smattering of actual exclusives. Sony did a superb job of winning the gaming masses over to it's side with one amazing exclusive after another. MS really should take note of that. Sony were quite lucky on the sales front in the sense that the Japanese don't do Xbox but then again we have no idea how many extra 360s were sold due to the RROD debacle.
