Well, I've read similar stuff in other previews as well, but supposedly, those were early builds and the game got better since. Nevertheless, those who'd played it in E3 had quite bad comments to make.
It's not surprising though... A game that started as a Kinect title, now "forced" to be played like a hack'n'slash. Eye candy and demonstration of X1's abilities is its purpose. It reminds some early Windows 95 games, all videos and on-rails gameplay.
For the sake of variety and competition, I hope it turns out to be good.
