MikeRox said: It was definitely an artistic choice to go with the "retro" visuals. However at the same time, it's like 1 guy or so making these games. I think with a 3D engine, the simplicity of the game would have been lost. I do get what you mean though, I find some of the difficulty of the game is seeing what is going on. But I think it's as much due to the hectic frantic pace as the visuals. |
That's why I complain aboutthe graphics.. I can't See ANYTHING, most part of the gameplay is press the button in the correct moment and place.. I actually have missing feelings with this game, I liked the concept, but for me is the bad thing weigth far above the good things.. (the Music is great I repeat! IS GREAT!)..
But I still think that a 3D engine would have been good, keeping the artistic and colorful palette...
And About MLB games.. Is not exclusive of SONY, the 2k series still release yearly... they have the best Basketball game.. but The Show is the best... http://www.vgchartz.com/gamedb/?name=MLB+2k13&publisher=&platform=&genre=&minSales=0&results=200
But really, Baseball is not a very popular in Videogames.. must be because is not as competitive as other sports games...
