Vita is not a handheld. It is a hybrid console and handheld thus you can't compare it with anything. It is unique, a never seen before in history of gaming.

Vita is fine, it is just beginning. It will be living a long life while the entire current gen lies in their resting grave (3DS, Wii U, PS3, 360, Wii). it will outlive more stuff than you think (dat 10 year plan).
BTW grats to Vita on making it to 6 million on front page. :)
