posts that are deemed just barely not moderation worthy are not really something that proves bias. Jaywood's thread about Sony targetting arrogant fans is pretty damn flamebaity too and could have been put better but we decide that it's not quite to the point of moderation and take note of it for later. Just because something isn't moderated doe not mean it is ignored. If you find evidence of actual legitimate bias I would be interested to see it and look into it, but if all you're doing is saying "well ____ fanbase gets banned more than ___" based off no evidence then I don't really see a pint to answer your post with any other way than mockingly. I'll look at the posts you mentioned. Thread seems like it's caught too late (I actually saw that thread title but never clicked on it since it's not someting I cared about and didn't seem like an obvious issue from the title), but I'll think about the post. It's a minor fanbase attack which happens quite a bit here but it's definitely something I'd like to curb if possible. Btw, he said "never see Sony fans get banned" so I can say unequivicably that he has selective sight. Or he's been on this site for about 10 minutes and based his conclusion on that. Either way, it's a post I cannot possibly take seriously. |
Thanks for the insight into the process. I'm not calling for people to get banned unless they are repeat offenders. Warnings should work for people that aren't here specifically to cause trouble.
For the record, I wasn't in agreement with the accusation. I was just saying that I personally have seen or even reported what have seemed to be obvious violations of the site's rules that have gone unmoderated while others that didn't seem so bad have been moderated. Heck, I even got a warning one time for something relatively minor and was really surprised but I just accepted it and moved on. There are some that are just problems though and I know you guys can't be everywhere all of the time, so I'll just keep reporting like you guys requested. Thanks again.
