if it wasnt for the head start xbox got, ps3 would have always been ahead....at a higher price point.
wii couldnt even last the whole generation before nintendo took it out its misery and discontinued it so i dont see how thats anywhere near being a winner. they cant take all the sales during their good times and then call the end of the generation when they slump, thats what losers do.

in terms of games I think it goes 1) Sony 2)nintendo 3)MS

MS looked like they had so many exclusives and then 1 by 1 they went to ps3. wouldnt be surprised of XBone ends up the same.

Wii didn't last the whole generation because Nintendo and thirds dropped support on it after the best year it had on the market(2010). And the funny thing is that when almost no new game was being released on it(2011 was when the support was almost entirely dropped), it still managed to outsell both the PS3 and 360. How's that being a loser i'm not sure. PS2 survived so long because in 2007 and 2008 it still had great third-party support, drop support and sales will go along with it.

herd that a million time but still, whatever the excuse, it still flopped before the end of the generation came.

im sure you dont expect the wii to run games at the same level as the ps360 and im sure you dont expect it to be running games like GTA, red dead or battlefield at all. I know graphics are not everything but there comes a time where you have to look at the hardware and see what its maximum capability is. afterall thats why they released the wii U right?....which is still way underpowered compared to ps4/xb1

Oh well, then I guess this gen should've ended right when Crysis released(2007) on PC, since, you know, graphics are not everything, but you have to look at a hardware and see what it's maximum capability is. The fact that without almost any releases in an entire year, a weak-ass system hardware-wise like the Wii outsold the PS3 and the 360 which had major releases is telling enough. Also, Wii never received any expressive number of PS3/360 multiplatform games, a long list of it's sucessful games were either exclusive 3rd-party games or 1st party games. Whether it could run GTA or Battlefield never mattered, because that wasn't what it's audience was looking for.
