Honestly, I don't get all the fuss for mechanical keyboards. I don't have a complain for membrane ones.

Then again I'm the one that saw 2 and 2 and ended with 22. I assumed that since they are "mechanical" and given that they put on the box those "45/50g activation force" that they were stiffer than regular keyboards. And it's completely the opposite! It must be read as "only 45/50g ...". So yeah.

But I must admit that I've thought about getting one, and even watched several youtube videos to know how they sound, and I got 3 things from that: 1-I prefer the sound of brown and red; 2-Rubber O-rings are a must; 3-I'll never, ever get an ALPS switch. That's a noise machine!

I'll probably get shot for this, but I love my Logitech G19 and it's membraneness. :P
The backlight keys could be brighter, but I love the screen for displaying PC information such as Temperatures, Clockspeeds, Voltages, Fan Speed's for both the GPU and CPU.
Some games support it too, but not in a way you expect like displaying an RTS map or anything, usually like a units health and stuff.

I certainly won't shot you.

And I agree that it's a nice keyboard that has 2 big cons for me: the screen (I'll most likely never going to use it), and its price. It's 150 € here.

See, that's my problem: there are keyboards that don't have what I want but its price is almost right, and then there are keyboards that have more than I want and therefore are too expensive.

I think the best kboard I've find is the G110: full height keys, media keys (I use them), good brand and a price that while high (almost 70 €), I could accept. The cons are that it has too many macro keys (12x3 is too many for me) and the biggest problem of all: it's been discontinued, at least here in Spain, and Logitech doesn't have a replacement (the G105 is ugly and lacking in features and the G510 suffers from the same problems as the G19 with even more macros, but with a lower price).

Please excuse my bad English.
