IW said the reason why the resolution was dropped was so it could maintain 60fps... Not sure if kidding... 

And on PS4 they thought "fuck the frames, let's go for 1080p" or what? Seriously that IW comments means nothing, there could very well still be issues in the X1 version.

I am not saying it couldn't happen. Did you read my post about judging the console based on one game? Especially cod? 

 

It could happen but it seems as though the res was dropped to keep the fps smooth.
