| eFKac said: I think you really overestimate the importance of Japanese games for the Western audience, where the Vita struggles the most. It already has a lot of different kinds from bigger titles to totally niche stuff that has been localised and it didn't light up the charts. You say the Persona 4 Golden is the 4th best selling game on the Vita, that's true. But without Japanese sales how high would it be? |
Ragnarok Odyssey sucks and it's sold just as many copies in the west as it has in Japan. Persona 4 The Golden has sold 210,000 in the west while selling 270,000 in Japan. Both Gravity Rush and Metal Gear Solid HD Collection sold over twice as much in the west than they did in Japan. Disgaea 3 has sold about the same(slightly more in the west.) Those are just a few examples.
Really. The difference in sales between Japanese releases on the Vita really aren't that different. It atleast proves that people in the west do buy Vita games, sometimes, a lot of the time if you add western releases, more than the same games sell in Japan.
