But are you saying the Vita couldn't? Vita did most of the tech stuff listed in Uncharted GA, KZ Mercs and Unit 13, Even Resistance. And in those games the characters don't have a single texture with a mouth slit for faces.

How good it plays is an entire other thing. Interesting to see how it pans out with no 2nd analog and using the Stylus. Or seeing how well it sells because patterns say it will bomb on it. The fanbase that buys 3DS might not be interested in this type of game. Reminds me when Grindhouse came to the Wii.


The previous post was amended by Play4Fun to just say PSP so I was just referring to PSP. Which yeah, no way PSP could knock that out at 60fps with or without stereoscopic 3D.

If Ironfall was a Vita game the 60fps would be nice, but the lack of detail in the environments and lack of geometry would be noticible and it would be nothing special. I hope Ironfall is compatible with the 2nd analogue stick on 3DS because as much as I tolerated 1 analogue for TPS/FPS during the Dreamcast days, this is now 2013 not 1999.
