The Witcher could be a problem, but Dragon Age or Mass Effect? You can always pause the game to give commands to your party members. It even works with K.o.t.O.R. or Mass Effect Infiltrator on an iPad with a touch screen... on the Vita you could use sticks, buttons AND the touchscreen. Ports of older Bioware Games would be possible on the Vita: Baldur's Gate 1 + 2, Neverwinter Nights, Star Wars K.o.t.O.R. 1 + 2, Jade Empire, Mass Effect + Dragon Age could be great handheld games. Or Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas with the tactical "V.A.T.S."-system... you could choose the targeted body part (head, torso, leg, arm..) per touch screen. |
Why would Witcher or other action oriented games be a problem? A game like Witcher or Kingdom of Amalur is exactly the type of game I want on my Vita. Can't see a problem with them, there is only one character to control.
But obviously I'd buy all the Bioware games and all Fallouts. Morrowind HD would be a nobrainer as well. I need wRPGs on it so bad :( We've gotta tweet Shahid about Bioware games and Wasteland 2 :P These are indies at this point after all ;) He should go after them.
Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!
My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/
My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.
