That makes no sense at all.

Japanese version you get 3 hits perlife and there are extra life codes,

the US release you get 1 hit, 3 lives, 3 continues,

Japanese release is really hard, but the US one is insane

It's not that hard. I own it for the Genesis and have beaten it. As long as you pick the robot or the girl it's actually really easy.

So I can one life Nam'75, Metal Slug 1,x and 3 on expert, and one life Contra 1...serveral times, doesn't mean it's actually really easy, trying to look at this from the perspective of someone that hasn't masterred the game
