Infamous 2. Cole himself moved around faster, started with a decent amount of powers that he ended with in the first game, and then as you progressed through the game he not only learned different powers and relearned powers like missile, but he learned several different types of each power that gave you more variety in how you wanted to play.
New Marais was also more detailed as a city than Empire City and the enemy types are less repetitive. Even though Infamous 2 doesn't have many boss battles in comparison to the original, the original where enemy types in each area are all mostly the same except for one enemy type in each area.
Even though the gameplay was mostly the same, the enhancements to this game made it far more enjoyable.
