- My comment was actually directed at a few others, although it may had been directed at you too if you had intentionally ignored other comparisons and the Digital Foundry analysis. If this is the only comparison you have come across then I apologise. - It's not based on personal opinion when it's exactly the same game across all platforms and when TV / monitor settings can manipulate how the game looks to suit your preference. There is a factual side to graphical comparisons, pixels, framerate, textures and so on. - My honest opinion on the IGN video? I can't see shit, even the current-gen and next-gen comparisons end up looking the same in some parts. The only difference I see between the PS4 and Xbox One versions is that the Xbox One version has a higher contrast, which might not even be accurate depending on how the footage was captured. |
Your previous comments may be directed to "others" but it is still a post to antagonize people (Xbox enthousiats or not) and derail the thread.
It is a matter of personnal oppinon. The lightning and the constrast are different and even that blurry effect which is also visibile on other sources (not only IGN). As I'm not the only one seeing it if you look at other people in the thread.
I'm not saying that my oppinion is the right one or that my preferences are the best. The the fact is that at the end, the PS4 version (darker, less spectacular lighthning effect, that blurry effect) may be favored by some and not by others. That's a personnal oppinion and it is definitly not everybody who see it your way (or my way).
At the end, the disucssion is about preferences and not to what version is the best or not. Or even if IGN used crappy capture device to capture PS4 footage...
When you speak about framerate, resolution etc... It is the not the point of the thread, at all...
Thank for sharing your oppinion anyway.
