I played the XBOX One version on Wednesday at the EA launch event in Darlinghurst and it was a blurry, jaggy mess, so if this video is correct i'm assuming it's a blurry jaggy mess on PS4 also.

From seeing multiple videos of the two They do look very similar actually.  YOu would have to have them side by side to actually notice the difference.  However there has been a lot of comments about BF4 being blurry on PS4.  And that isnt just me saying that(even my PC friend immediately said that). http://www.ign.com/videos/2013/11/01/battlefield-4-next-gen-vs-current-gen

Any ways I am inclined to believe a person who has built his entire channel around Battlefield and has nearly 500k subscribers.  He could have easily reacted out of fanwars and said that PC is clearly the best(as it does) but instead he said that PS4/XBO could out perform medium spec PC's which all on its own was a great comment.

Yes. A lot of people find the PS4 version blurry from all over the Internet from different sources (not only DF). And that is comparing versus PC or even PS3 on this Gif.

It is as if DICE added a soft blur on it or the upscaler is garbage. I began rewatching old DF face-off (or elsewhere comparisons on Internet) with upscaled and anti-aliased assets on both PS3 and X360 versus PC and they never looked so much blurred. Even upscaled and anti-aliased, the details of textures PS3/X360 vs PC are about the same (except when there is some very high res texture on PC but it is rarely the case) and that is comparing with 1080p MSAA PC version.

Comparing the PS3 with the PS4 here is shocking, we can notice of course that PS4 has better resolution and less jaggies but there is AS MUCH overall blur applied. 600p-ish vs 900p should'nt be like that even upscaled. I understand that in motion the 900p resolution, better framerates and less jaggies is really better but I can't stand anymore fuzzy images. Impatient to see COD Ghosts PS4/PC face-off to be sure if this problem comes from upsaler or DICE.
