Sigh my cpu temps are sitting around 78 degree celcius in battlefield 4. I need to open up the case and replace the thermal paste at some point. Even with my 7950 oc'ed at 1150mhz, my framerates are sometimes dipping down to about 52fps at high setting, had to turn some of the effects like AA down to medium.

Any news on when Mantle support will be coming for this game?

Er. I've never replaced my thermal paste.
You might need to get some compressed air to clean out the dust in the heatsink and if you have fan filters, those too.
However, do keep in mind that AMD recommends 61'C as the maximum temperature for it's CPU's as stated in it's whitepapers.
Intel recommends 67.9'C for the First generation Intel i7.

However, higher temps than that should be perfectly fine within reason. :P
In-fact, all modern CPU's will throttle clockspeeds (And if it doesn't fix it, complete shut down) before damage is even incurred.

My pc is pristine clean lol, I've just dusted it all out just a few weeks back with compressed air. The problem is that its i7 2.8ghz oc'ed to 4.0 with a fan cooler so its not doing too well at keeping the temps low during full load. :3

Feels like getting another 7950 in the coming month when the price goes down further. What do you think? :)

Do it, get yourself a cheap Corsair Hydro whilst you're at it. :)

EA are shit heads, game crashing every 10mins, abysmal loading times, and sometimes not even launching multi-player at all. You can tell they rushed the fucking game to meet the console launch, bugs and glitches everywhere, its no where near optimised for the PC at all.

So business as usual for EA then? :P
