Yeah, I agree although for different reasons. I can't judge the multiplayer because admittedly I never played it but I owned Killzone 2 and just couldn't make it through the game.
I actually liked the weight and movement as well as how it felt firing a weapon, but the game was just generic feeling overall (my opinion); the characters and mythos were just boring to me. Like Resistance, I just find Killzone uninteresting. Nice graphics though.
