Games are the priority, but what if you could get games and the best performance ?

Xbox One has not more games than PS4(in fact, PS4 will have more games, with japan games and massive support from Sony Studio like xboxvsPS2 and 360vsPS3, story tells you that) , xbox one is overpowered by PS4 ,so what justify $100 more ?

Personal preference? Your age? Whether you buy your own sht or not?

There are a thousand reasons to get the X1 over the PS4 and vice versa. Price is only 1 of those reasons and hardly the most important.

I'm a "horse power" freak by nature but even being so I still believe in the X1 offereing better value than the PS4 at launch and so I am willing to get the X1 over the PS4. That isn't to say I can't have a PS4 or won't support the PS4 but that I just don't see the point in doing so at launch.

If I was a kid that depended on my parents to buy me a video game then I can see the PS4 being a better value for my parents ($$.) But then again, that scenario won't be the only one this holiday season.
