Makes sense as they can get teams they know will be playoff contenders, while in the early season it is harder to predict so there is little point in flexing games.
I am actually sick of Broncos prime time night games. I think they will have seven of them unless they get flexed up again. I prefer the normal late game schedule. Waiting all day for the game is not fun.
