How about have some compelling software within the first two years of launch? That would help. As it stands now, only die-hard Nintendo fans are really excited about what the Wii U offers.

Two years? It's been a year, man.

We've been talking about it for so long that it felt like two years.

LOL, I can empathize with that.

I think the problem is a little more complex than simply compelling software. It needs to not only be compelling on its own terms, it needs to showcase what can be done with the hardware. Not only is this game great, but it can only be great on this hardware that we've built. It's the difference between mere exclusivity and a true killer app.

Honestly, few Nintendo games managed to make that argument even on the Wii. I'm not sure if any game has successfully made that argument on Wii U.
