Actually the "resolution importance" problem is just a formulation to hide the real problem, that is the fact that Microsoft is selling a 100$ more console that is widely less powerful than its direct competitor..
Alright so resolution doesn't matter. What's the excuse going to be when we get multiplats with worse lighting, draw distance, textures, AA, framerate and/or object detail on xbox one? None of that matters either?
How about when you don't get soft body dynamics or GPGPU fluid dynamics systems like in Deep down where a fireball can be accurately dissipated or redirected with a tornado spell? Things like that are going to be problematic on XB1.

Because nothing graphics related matters its just the gameplay... we just upgrade generations so PS can have a bigger number.
Now on the serious side, yes I believe gameplay is most important, but if it can be better looking I preffer like that.

Have you read my mind why I buy Sony first parties?
