Not true. California does have the most places to go but there are studios all over the place. I managed to stay in Dallas area and Texas is actually the second biggest game state. Austin is quickly becoming a very large gaming city. |

Yup, Retro is in Austin and even know a few people there. 
If they would have been hiring while I was looking I probably could have gotten a job there but probably wouldn't have taken it just because I didn't want to leave the Dallas area.
