Yes, they've been doing that for the last six quarters. The last time a LTD shipment for Vita was leaked was by June 30th, 2012. It was 2.2m which puts the system about a million units below the Wii U in launch aligned shipments. Sony's forecast for this fiscal year is 5m between the PSP and PSV. They are at 1.4m after two quarters, so there's a chance that they'll miss it. Certainly not by as much as Nintendo will miss their Wii U forecast, but Sony's projection was very low to begin with. |
Hmm you sure it's not the last 5 quarters? Q113 I have it as shopping 0.4m after that I have seemingly (obviously now) combined figures.
PSV price cut has done pretty much nothing, PSP remains strong though in Europe, so may still hit their target.
PS3 target though they will miss, didn't realise how much sales had slumped YOY, 10m is too lofty.
