I actually read the article.

What the OP failed to post was,

Although PS4 has a better resolution, The Xbox One looks crisper thanks to a much better upscaler inbuilt into hardware. Also Xbox Ones Textures have more detail.

Why did the OP leave this out?

So Less aliasing on PS4 vs better textures and crisper image on Xbox One.

And that is where you are wrong, they are using the same textures for both versions, differences in screenshots if down to the randomly loaded textures, for god knows what reason they decided to have ground and camo textures generate randomly.

The hardware upscaler applies an aggressive sharpen to the video signal before spitting it out to the TV, this is why textures "look" sharper, but also why the aliasing looks even worse than 720p 360/ps3 games, because theres no refinement, its simply sharpening the whole screen, imperfections too.

PS4 is using software upscaling without a sharpening process in place, so much smoother aliasing and a slight blurryness to the overall image from the upscale, however if you adjust the sharpness setting on your TV (most modern ones have this option) then you can do the same as the hardware upscaler does, and the outcome will be the exact same crispness of image, but with a better resolution and a more stable framerate.

I have posted images in this thread multiple times showing the games side by side when a simple brightness and sharpness adjustment is made, and they look identical in everything except for image quality, where the PS4 obviously leads due to less aliasing.

But, and i stress this, the textures used on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions, are *EXACTLY* the same.
