I think it's because games have gotten easier and easier over the years and gamers feel like they need someone to hold their hand when they play games. First there were walktroughs, then gamerfaqs and now people just youtube how to beat a boss. It takes all the fun away. I beat him with the second try I think and I found the battle absolutely amazing. There are always gonna be people who don't finish a game, but youtube comments are completely unreliable.
