What's a good rig to go along a R9 290X ?

I mentioned the 902 because 1) It's cheap, and 2) with a 290X you need a case with very good airflow, and that case is cheap and has lots of ventilation.

What's your opinion on the CM 690? Or NZXT Phantom cases?

I like the Phantom Cases, purely for looks. - Lots of enthusiasts enjoy modding the hell out of them too!
The CM 690 is a good case.
