Actually, PS3's multiplats, for the most part, trailed the 360's throughout the entire gen. And those differences weren't even as big as what we have today.

we have a difference in numbers today, thats all I have seen. battle field is the only thing we have to compare so far, better ps4 numbers with split opinions on what looks better. screen shots were inconsistent with some looking better one one some lookin better on he other, videos showed no real differece. so far this big diverence is just numbers and terms. End result what difference?

There were more differences than just numbers, my friend. Any review or Digital Foundry would best aid you, here. Never mind that the difference between 720p and 1080p is not slight.

Ok I will not pretend to be a God of technical jargin like some people try to and end up more looking like puppets.
From what I understand we have a diference not of reselution but a diference in how the same reselution is achieved. Two words, "native" and "upscaled". Native is being praised because it is somehow more built into the game......or something. But at the end, if no labels of the system they were running on were revealed, It's a good chance we have xbox one fan boys saying the ps4 version looks better and vice versa.
What is digital Foundry? more people that can tell me what I'm not seeing? I wil pass on that but thanks for the offer.

No no no. Upscailed just means it fills up the whole screen. That is it.
