Ryse: Son of Rome Will Not be Ported to PC Down the Line, Will Not Have a Demo at Launch
During a livestream showing off Ryse: Son of Rome‘s multiplayer gameplay Senior Producer Justin Robey and Microsoft’s Senior Brand Manager Glenn Gregory dropped a couple pieces of information that will probably sadden CryTek’s PC-based fans and those that would like to try the game before purchasing it.
Answering two questions from the fans Robey responded with a rather clear cut “no” to both the possibility of a playable demo of the game made available at launch and of a possible PC port in the future.
So there you have it, straight from the lion’s mouth: if you want to play Ryse: Son of Rome, you’ll have to do so on Xbox One, and you’ll have to but it with no chance to try it beforehand.
