I think that when people go as low as insult others over their opinion, you can tell they dont have a strong reasoning. Look i'll make it very clear. 10 years from now, do you see anyone playing NBA2k11? I'm sure that by then there will be an NBA2k21. Is there any reason to go back and play 11 again? No, there isnt, its the same game with better graphics and animations. Now compare to say Uncharted. You might have uncharted 8 in 10 years... is uncharted 2 still worth playing? Yes! Why? Because it is a completely different setting, characters, music and story. These are what makes a generational game. Its something that you see people playing years from now. NBA2K11? Sorry, no one is gonna be playing that in the future. Its not a unique game.

The ability to play the greatest moments of Michael Jordan's career exclsively on this game GUARANTEES people will still be playing it. Most NBA 2K enthusiasts I know still play it as well. And your ten years from now argument is baseless anyway because Journey greatly loses its replay value adter you've completed it once or twice ans I doubt people who have completed it will be playing it in 10 years and it's STILL one the best games this gen.
