The thing is, the game has more than only one or two race classes. And if you have lower classes you also have to have small cars. And I'm sure many people like to drive their real life car in the lower classes as long as they have a car with less power. 

And Forza is not only about the races, a big part is the "paint community" who make the sickest stuff on the cars with the decals. And it is pretty awesome if you can throw that stuff in th game on the car you have in real life.
