No, you don't need to spin anything, but you do anyway (speaking of noticing patterns). As for your last bit, that's interesting. So I shouldn't hear any complaints from you regarding anything MS related that's not moderated. Got it.

Ah see now your twisting.

I have never condemend Sony fans vs Microsoft fans. But it should be done in the Gaming forums.

What I hate is when Sony fans or Microsoft fans go into the opposite forum and spout crap. Theres no need for that.

Mods should moderate. But I have always disagreed with moderating anyone but the initiater. Because those fans go into the opposite fans forum for one reason. The fans using and defending their own forum should not get banned. Especially when 99% of opposing fanboys never intend to ever like or buy the opposing product but yet still go in to lay down the mines.

The way to deal with something you don't favor is to either discuss it, within reason, or report it. Yes, that's how these boards go (can't help you with moderating, since that's something that, thankfully, exists and I have no power to decide one way or the other).

Discussing it would be good, but you cant discuss something with someone who has no intention of discussion. I.E going into opposing forums and starting trouble on purpose. Sure report it, but this forum itself is proof that unfortunately doesnt work. Ignore it? Sure, but someone will bite. Eventually 100% of threads become a warzone. Actually the other day ( I dont know about Sony forums, I didnt check ) the Micrososft Forums first 15 threads were all arguements with Sony fans. Why were those fans in there in the first place?

Report them? It was to late, the threads were F**ked. There was more and more joining in. Making it impossible to moderate. When mods could finally get on top of it, it would have taken 24 hours. And thats for 1 thread. In the meantime another 5 threads go down the drain.

Mods are a great idea, but in reality does very little to the balance of any site.
