First off I think in a hypotetical future were there are just a couple of million white people on the planet I guess that trying to look white will be a world wide trend. Since Humans always want whats rare. You can see it in Asia today. So I guess my grandkids will care even more than I do just because of the novelty factor for them. And one thing is for sure people will always care about superficial things like looks.
Its not about that it goes away completly it will be just very hard to come by one day. Light skin tone/blue green eyes/red/blonde hair are recessive traits so its not that far fetched.
