well I shouldn't have said I vastly disagree... it's more I wouldn't call it propaganda, this is more the role of marketing than PR.... PR being more the honest guy talking about what is true about his product or service... while marketing actively look for trends/habits/social bias etc to formulate a communication message that will tickle the customer in places he didn't know existed.... while it is neither propaganda it is a way more oriented form of communication for a company than PR is in most cases... well at least for most of them... of course you have always the black sheep in the lot
