I'd go with an Intel CPU, probably the i5-4670K (or the non K version if you won't overclock) paired with a Z87 motherboard (no need for a high end one), 16GB of 1600MHz RAM, a 650W power supply of a reliable brand (modular would be better) or a bit more if you plan to go Crossfire in the future, and a case with lots of ventilation and fans, something like an Antec 902.

Also, a small SSD for OS and other software and a 1 or 2 TB fast, traditional HDD (like a WD caviar black) to store lots of games. Or if you want/can afford, a single 500 GB SSD for OS and games but then you'll have to delete games more often as you'll fill it up rather fast.
