Though not so recent the orignial Modern Warfare, Bioshock, Portal 2 (not in my opinion but most people really loved it) all had epic SP. 

Anecdote =/= data. Bioshock Infinite is one. Killzone SF is the other (@dialgamarine).

Killzone Shawdowfall hasn't even come out yet and people are claming it to be epic..wtf seriously? Wait till the game comes out play it and then we'll see if it comes in the same league as bioshock.
