I find funny that the ones who defend multiculturalism and immigration are the ones who on the long term will benefit the least from it. It's not just about ethnicity but culture. All you need is a small look on the birth rates of said groups:

white liberal secularist -    1

immigrants and white conservatives -    2.5

far-right lunatics, fundamentalist religious, other fringe groups etc. -     5

Even if the first group makes up the majority of the population on a given point in time and has more or less decent adherence rates from the others and vice-versa, it's clear that over a century or two the massive shift not only on demographics, but from social and cultural standpoints.

On the United States, for instance, by the end of the century, some 80-85% of the populace will descent from the pro-life, anti-gay rights of nowadays, and will inherit their beliefs the old-fashioned way - through birth.

So in the end voting progressive is the most assured way of destroying the progressive cause. Had the US remained 70% white, it would have reached European levels of secularism (and social democratic politics) within two generations.
