I would not be suprised at all if you would have to buy a year of PS+ to access the patch to be able to play offline.

That would be totally sony.

Back on topic. I thought the PS4 has no DRM?  Was that just Sony games not having DRM?  Im confused now.

Uhm, you can even play many games online without Plus (F2P games). You can also access basically everything online, just not the MP of most games, without paying for Plus...

That is actually not at all like Sony.

no?
"Here our new handheld please buy a proprietary memory card that was not neccesary on our 7 year old handheld. Oh and it does NOT matter that a NES cartridge from 1986 allowed you to save the progress on the game itself. That was oldschool but  THIS IS THE FUTURE!

And in case you wonder why we have no internal flash memory for your saves and just sell Vita cards for downloaded games... well...... no comment.

Thank you :) "

Still dont know what the DRM talk is about. The only thing I ever read about DRM was that Sony limits your games/account to a specific number of systems as it does with the PS3 now. Is this what we are talking about?

I mean since when was there talk about PS4 forcing you to be online like the old X1 thing?
