outlawauron said: Lots of Sony published Vita titles were shown from Western developers. They just weren't big titles, so they kinda get pushed to the side (Murasaki Baby, Borderlands 2, BigFest, Vita Pets are all Western games published by Sony). There's a lot of PS3/4/Vita games from Western studios, and I can understand the complaint of wanting something specifically for the platform. That said, this is most financially feasible way for Sony to go, especially after seeing how poorly Mercenary did. |
But see like I said..none of those titles are like KZ merc or Tearaway. Not in scale of project and they aren't first party.
I think making small teams like the Tearaway team should be more than feasible for sony when it comes to vita. No need for every game to be like KZ merc...do a LBP like art style over technically advanced visuals and boom. Smaller budget but still a satisfying result. I sincerely believe that if Puppeteer was a vita exclusive title, it would have outsold the PS3 numbers. Shuhehi has not been very smart with such projects
@Small44: I think that was the case always...especially with struggeling platforms like vita and wiiu. It sucks...it really does. But if moneyhat is what's gonna take it and that's exactly what needs to be done.
Guys again, I know I come off as a negative nancy at times but it's not without reason. I am just as likely to praise Sony when they do right :) I did so during TGS too. SCEJA have done a great job this year vita reveal wise (god I hope Gravity Rush 2 isn't a multiplat)
