So why did they de-rate the temperature? there is no reason to drop the usable operating temperature unless its running hot?

A typical device runs has a maximum at 45-55 degrees C.

Why would a company REDUCE this temperature if their device could work at the most commonly used ranges?

Also why would they also include asoftware cut-out when the temperature rises slightly above this?
