You guys would be pretty surprised actually.  That their may be know alien life is actually gaining a lot of steam in the scientific realm.

WIth no evidence aliens exist, just how hard it is to create life and talk of non-carbon life forms basically just being a fantastic guess...

it's gaining quite a bit as far as rationallity goes.  Since really to not believe their are aliens currently makes more sense if using the scinetific principles of reasoning.  (We just really want them to exist.)

AT best, aliens might actually just be some space cows or something.

 

In a way, just matter of aliens beign cool, and a direct opposition to religion may have caused an unscientific belief in aliens, because what space sciencist wouldn't want aliens to exist?
