So Playstation fans should stop supporting Sony and the games they make, even though they like them more, just because Sonys financials aren't as good as Microsofts, or what is the message you are trying to convey with that post?

No they shouldnt. But Sony arent being practical in all areas of their profit margins. Maybe they should have priced PS4 with The One. It seems like Sony wouldnt mind losing money to gain marketshare. Thing is they arent to great financially right now. They need to make a good profit.

Your comment makes no sense. MS has Kinect, that's why the system costs more. It would make NO SENSE for Sony to have a $500 console without Kinect.

If they added the Playstation Eye in the bundle then who is to say that at $500 the system wont be sold at a loss? I think you underestimate how much the next gen consoles actually cost to get on shelves. If both companies are to sell at a profit i think the price would be even higher. And the price of both is already high. In other countries the price is astronomically high. Im talking PS3 high.

And if the price is any higher then you end up in a ps3 situation. Clearly people didnt see the value in a ps3 when it costed as much as it did. The same thing will happen to these systems if the cost is too high.

And in any case why did you bring Sony fans into a MS financials discussion thread? I mean the other day you made a thread asking people NOT to flame, troll or deliberately go off topic? Yet here you are.

OT: In any case i think people calling doom and gloom about MS have alsways been delusional or simply unaware of the presense MS has in the enterprise sector. No other company comes CLOSE. MS will be fine no matter what happens in the consumer space. Not that they will let anything bad happen :P
