They will probably do a price drop and just take the loses, if they fall way behind in the sales game and that's a big IF and depends what way behind is to them. |
given how MS has handled the past year or so what's another PR disaster? Just label it as listening to your fans again and they'll get praise for initially terrible strategies when they change them.
