A Pemalite said, even running existing PC games natively in 4K won't make taht much sense, since all the assets are made for lower resolution.
As for upscaling, that option gives even lower quality than runing a non-4K game in 4K.
As far as I know, you will be able to land on planets, even fight on them FPS style. I might be wrong, tho.
