NES to SNES introduced the modern controller, N64 although weird is actually something you get used to. Better for larger hands, had analog stick, then they made the GCN then they made to this day the best design for a motion controlled device then they stuck a screen in a dual analog controller thats surprisingly comfortable. |
There's a reason why both the N64 and the GC controller layout never existed for more than 1 generation.
