By the way I have decided not to adjust the results when Vgchartz changes their numbers. My reasoning for this is as follows.
1. It would be far too time consuming to do so (and with each added week, the work load would increase.
2. I figure that people are mostly basing their predictions off of the current global weekly charts which are also very prone to be adjusted.

The scoring system is as follows:
For Software numbers
If your prediction is within .5% of the actual amount, you will get 20 points
If your prediction is within 2% of the actual amount, you will get 6 points
If your prediction is within 4% of the actual amount, you will get 3 points
If your prediction is within 12% of the actual amount, you will get 1 point
If your prediction is over 50% off from the actual amount, you will get -2 points
If your prediction is over 80% off from the actual amount, you will get -5 points
For Hardware numbers
If your prediction is within .5% of the actual amount, you will get 10 points
If your prediction is within 2% of the actual amount, you will get 4 points
If your prediction is within 4% of the actual amount, you will get 2 points
If your prediction is within 12% of the actual amount, you will get 1 point
If your prediction is over 50% off from the actual amount, you will get -2 points
If your prediction is over 80% off from the actual amount, you will get -5 points
