In the end the only thing xbox can hope to win is north america. and accept defeat everywhere else. |

What do we blame? Microsoft? the world for being in between the two places? languages? I assume you would know how to market to the Japanese. Japanese are a weird bunch and sony and nintendo has a clear advantage being rooted in america and Japan. No matter what microsoft does the Japanese simply DO NOT WANT.
It's kind of a mystery why xbox can do well in othr places but not even be looked at as a legit system in Japan. Maybe they don't respect american tech. They are admittedly a brilliant bunch.
Easiest guess is to say they would rather stick to their own. It does help their economy, Why buy a foreign product that does the same things as one produced in your own land? If I lived there I probably wouldn't buy an xbox either.
