No they shouldn't. I reckon they would be smart to look into a partnership however, with someone like Apple. If they merged the Apple TV with the Wii U they would have all the multimedia stuff covered as well as a brand that sells for the hardware.
But on the games front they are fine on their end, they just need the third parties on board.
